This very tight design features acid etched centers for the main copy and two tone gold leaf. The border design is accented with abalone inside the 23K gold line work. The rich copper tones add warmth to compliment the cool tones of the blended background. The pen and ink drawing of the elk was commonly used and can be found in many ads and logos of the time.
