Atkinson Plate

This is plate #11 from “Atkinson Sign Painting” designed by Frank Atkinson in 1909 as a muslin banner. We modified it for use on a reverse glass piece.

This project was done several years ago. It is not included in our limited edition groups but is included on the site to show other upcoming possibilities.

This piece includes abalone corners, acid etched and blended border designs. The texture in the background is glue-chipped glass with antique mirroring. This project also features a variety of gold leaf techniques.
