The Centennial Collection of Panels and Ornaments
All of the images stored on the CDs are black against white. Customers using vinyl cutters, CNC routing equipment and similar devices need only positive or negative shapes. As you can see in the images on this page, the same panels take on a completely different appearance when filled with colors and additional tones. High contrast black and white regions can be softened to help accentuate the more important copy areas.

As in the Americana Collection of Panels and Ornaments, be tried to offer a well rounded collection of both simple and complex graphics in the Centennial Collection of Panels and Ornaments. |

While many old bill heads and letterheads were printed in only black and white with various shades of gray, other labels and printing indicate almost any color was possible. Over the years, many people assume early colors had to be muted, but maybe their choice of colors was simply "tasteful". |

People asked for Rampant Lions and ornamental iron brackets. We included four different lions and a bunch of beautiful sign brackets in the Centennial Collection of Panels and Ornaments. We also added a few other silhouette graphics to help fill those little voids.

Liberty Street Centennial Candy Shop is basically a two color image colorized from image ce1301 from the CD. We just added a little deep wine color to the image, then threw in one of the diagonal cloud bitmaps behind all the text and graphics. |

These images work well with either toned down colors or bright and vivid colors. You can already see they work well for web page designs, but they can make wonderful dimensional signage and about any sort of printed graphics. |

There are plenty of fun little goodies in the Centennial Collection of Panels and Ornaments. In this example, we set the hand and magnifying graphic over the eagle and ribbon image. We then adjusted the opacify of the main layer to lighten it slightly, allowing the magnifying glass layer to show through richer and brighter. |
