Collection of Panals & Ornaments

The images in this collection were inspired by sign sketches made by Sam Kamin in the early 1920's. We have modified quite a few, added quite a few and enhanced most of his rough sketches for this disk. As the Art Nouveau period was winding down, and for a period of time before the Art Deco era, many signs were simplified from their earlier looks.

This period also marked the beginnings of the electric sign industry, and we have included quite a few of the wonderful marquee style designs as you see to the right. In fact, these designs inspired the name of this collection. Many of the images include the small round dots, and you can easily add your own to others as needed. There are numerous vertical format layouts in the collection, commonly found projecting from the large brick buildings in the big cities.

Many of the images in this collection were inspired by drawings by Sam Kamin in the early 1920's, like the Coffee Shop sign to the right. Many have a Broadway theater feel, while the bulk are just nice designs and panels. You will have a blast designing with them!
