Collection of Panels and Ornaments

We designed Promontory and Promontory Swash especially for this collection. It looks especially good with the large caps and the swash characters can add perfect charm and feeling to many words and phrases. Henderson Bold is another of our font designs, shown in our examples on our original CD, Classic Sign Painter's Ornaments.

By popular demand, we redigitized our original outlines and turned it into a font. All three fonts are included in TT and Type 1 formats.
Promontory - Regular and Swash
These two fonts were inspired by Plate #42 of the Frank Atkinson's 1909 book "Atkinson Sign Painting". Frank Nicholson was credited with the layout. We added some swashes and extra characters. The name commerates the legendary "Golden Spike" at the meeting of the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Railroads at Promontory Point, UT in 1869.
Henderson Bold
This font was inspired by plates in the Henderson book. It is a fun and unique font, containing the basic characters shown above.
